Slow-paced paper treats for a busy world
Stationery doesn't solve everything. Paper goods won't change our world. But if a hand-written postcard can help you reconnect with an old friend, or a well-worn journal can inspire a new path, or a favourite washi tape can make your day 1% prettier, I think that's worth celebrating. So let's celebrate, starting with these favourites of mine by artists I love. Share them, use them, admire them. And joyfully, quietly, and rebelliously return to the written word.
“The small things of life were often so much bigger than the great things . . . the trivial pleasure like cooking, one’s home, little poems especially sad ones, solitary walks, funny things seen and overheard.”
– Less Than Angels by Barbara Pym
Welcome to Small Moments
I'm Lucy, the owner of Small Moments. It's lovely to have you here! I moved to Denmark in 2021 and have worked for the last decade or so as a writer, once upon a time in tech and now on a little Substack about books. Over the last few years, stationery has become an obsession of mine – a grounding, analog anchor in what feels like a tumultuous, hurried, and disconnected time. Now, I'm sharing my favourite paper goods with you too.
Everything is hand-picked to make your day that little bit prettier, and crafted by artists I love (no AI, just beautiful human creativity). Thank you so much for supporting this one-woman labour of love – I hope it brings some beauty, connection, and quiet moments of reflection to your everyday life.
